Grazing Club Workshop with Dr. Christine Jones

June 28 at the MBFI (Jct of Hwy 10 and 353)
9:30 am - 3 pm
Lunch is provided
Registration $25 - please RSVP

In this workshop Dr. Jones will explain how enhancing above and below ground diversity through the adoption of appropriate grazing management, species-rich plant communities and biostimulants, facilitates quorum sensing in soil microbial communities, which in turn:

  1. reduces reliance on high-analysis fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and fungicides

  2. rapidly builds stable soil carbon

  3. improves soil structure, aeration and water-holding capacity

  4. optimizes soil, plant, animal, and human health, water quality and farm profit

Dr. Jones has an excellent web site with many resources at www.amazingcarbon.com
